Assessment methodology

How ApertureRisks produces an evidence-backed exposure assessment.

The methodology is designed to show what is known, what is connected, what remains unassessed, and which human decision is supported. It does not convert missing inputs into zero risk.

1

Scope and identity

Confirm the tenant, supplier identities, decision question, assessment period, and accountable owner.

2

Structured intake

Validate supplier, relationship, BOM, lane, facility, contract, financial-basis, performance, and evidence records without inventing missing values.

3

Exposure linkage

Link a signal or operating condition to the client records it can affect. Unlinked intelligence remains external context, not client exposure.

4

Evidence-aware assessment

Separate severity, confidence, exposure relevance, financial basis, evidence state, and action readiness. Not-assessed values remain explicit.

5

Human-reviewed delivery

Return the evidence basis, limitations, prioritized findings, recommended actions, owners, and open evidence requests for customer review.

Decision boundary

ApertureRisks provides decision support. Findings require human review and do not constitute legal, customs, insurance, financial, certification, or automatic operational decisions.
